Music in 7/4
Similar to 5/4, 7/4 can be a great alternative for swing base movements....leg swings in 7/4 are really fun to play for. 7/4 can be used to make across the floor walking/running phrases challenging on a different level than 2/4 or 4/4. The list below is ordered from slow to fast. The first number, unless written different for some ballet tracks, is the meter and the second number is the tempo. "7 180" means the meter is 7 and the tempo is 180 beats per minute.
