Scores -

Feb 11, 2026
In-browser DAW

is a new tool I’ve made for editing and mixing music from Sound for Movement right on the website. Lots of folks don’t have regular access to music editing tools and cannot build a collection of Scores for teaching, rehearsing, choreographing, and performing. Many others write in asking if it’s okay to edit music as needed for their projects. The new Scores page solves both with a simple-to-use music timeline. Here’s the flow: 1. Pick a name for your Score 2. Choose a duration (up to 2 hours) 3. Select music using “Find Track” 4. Trim and add fade-ins and fade-outs using handles 5. Add multiple tracks and overlap them for crossfades 6. Play back and scrub to listen to the Score timeline 7. Download a high-quality audio file 8. License your Score whenever you need I am so excited to hear what you all think. I would love any feedback on what’s working and how it could be better. Have fun. It brings me so much joy to be able to make tools like this now.

🎧 New Music - Rust

Jan 24, 2026
abstract colors of black and red with album title "Rust"

Rust is a collection of pieces left on the cutting room floor for a few years, cleaned up and finally released. Not every draft is right for a project. Not every edit improves the original. Learning that music is rarely "right or wrong", but almost always "right or wrong for a project", took many collaborations. Learning to trust that first glimpse of inspiration took more humility than time. The good stuff lies in that first whiff of magic. Rust is a badge of honor if you have the eyes to see it and the ears to hear it.

Bugs fixed!

Jan 17, 2026

Subscriptions and Custom Licensing should now be up and running smoothly for everyone. If you experience any issues, please reach out to me directly and let me know: michael@soundformovement.com. These issues were created as I transitioned the website into the new checkout and now, thankfully seem resolved. Subscribers will see their "Track Credits" and "License Credits". When buying a new track or licensing a new track, your credits will be used first. For all subscriptions, one "License Credit" equals a Limited License for one track. One "Track Credit" equals one track. If your credits ever look off or your Account is not displaying the correct subscription tier, contact me right away and I can update it (This is a bug I am actively working on today) - Michael 🎺

License and Checkout Button Bugs 🐞

Jan 16, 2026

Please email me directly (michael@soundformovement.com) for any licensing/subscription needs. I recently did a huge update to allow for single track, multi-track, Album and Collection purchases. This introduced some fun little bugs that I am hoping to have resolved later today! Feel free to always send feedback, or let me know about any issues you might find. 🤍 - Michael
